JW Floor Covering Inc. is seeking a Las Vegas Branch Manager. The Branch Manager will oversee daily operations and inventory, dispatch and manage crews, promote and adhere to safety requirements, meet with our business partners to provide support or training. JW Floor Covering Inc. has been providing superior flooring installations since 1989. We are an exclusive flooring installer for the nation's #1 home improvement retailer. We have nine service warehouses in CA and NV: San Diego, Temecula, Canoga Park, Santa Maria, Castroville, Hayward, Pittsburg, Santa Rosa, and Las Vegas. Duties & Responsibilities Manager the installation schedule Coordinate the AM dispatch (daily) Inventory control (carpet pad, and flooring supplies) Ensure compliance with daily vehicle and forklift inspections Operate a forklift Promote workplace safety and hold weekly safety meetings Performance manage office staff and flooring installers Weekly payroll Visit with business partners weekly to provide training and support Other assignments assigned by the Regional Director Requirements and skills: Background in flooring installation or construction Management experience Forklift certified Have or complete an OSHA 30-hour Construction Course (State requirement) Excellent communication skills Must be able to pass a background check Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license Computer, mobile tablet, and smartphone literate Frequently sit, stand, bend, lift, walk Lift 50 - 100 lbs Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Bonus/Commission: No
