About the RoleThe Executive Sous Chef at Komodo Las Vegas is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in overseeing all food production for dining, events, and functions. This individual will supervise kitchen employees, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain financial and labor percentages.Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food production and adhere to kitchen rules and procedures.
• Assist the Executive Chef in preparing and instructing staff on food preparation, presentation, and plating.
• Ensure accurate inventory management, cost control, and food waste reduction.
• Assume full responsibility for culinary operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menu changes, specials, and promotions.
• Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area, adhering to health and safety standards.Requirements
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
