Interns who perform well and demonstrate a commitment to our values of integrity, creativity, teamwork, passion and excellence may be extended employment opportunities with Western Alliance Bank.You will work as a team member of:The Nevada CRE Division. Generates Commercial real estate loans to developers, investors, and local/regional home builders. The Division consists of lenders and underwriter/analysts.What we are looking for: A Summer intern would shadow the Division Manager or Regional Leader, become familiar with the bank's loan and deposit systems, work directly with lenders/underwriters, read new loan recommendations and listen to loan committee presentations/discussions,. The intern would attend industry related networking events with CRE staff (SIOR/CCIM/NAIOP) and be included in conversations with Credit Administration to gain exposure to the construction disbursement process.Individuals who are passionate and entrepreneurial, just like our clients. Specifically, we're looking for top-performers interested in pursuing careers in Commercial Banking.You may be a fit for the program if you meet certain eligibility requirements, including:

• Undergraduate students currently enrolled in a related field of study
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision
• An interest in working in the Commercial Business Banking industryTo be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
